Haze

When the haze hovered over our homes
The city looked hazy;
When the haze hid away from our homeland
The prospect of school not opening looked hazy.
My future still looks hazy whether the sky’s hazy or not
But even if the sky’s hazy I still see things hazily.

When the haze hovered over our homes
A hazelnut on the ground could look hazy;
When the haze hid away from our homeland
My eyes become hazy with tears.
Whether things are hazy or not is not the reason why the haze is here
Even though I’m still hazed by the haze I’m clear about one thing.

When school starts,
all hail the haze.
